It was a very good tear

It had been

Held back for

So long

And in the

Past, people

Said, don’t

Hold back

And they didn’t

They were free with

The booze

Music

Dancing

Smoke

Truth and

An occasional

Lie

And then

Overnight,

It ran out

Nothing left

To siphon,

To skim from

The top

And the tears

That had

Been held back,

Bottled inside

Saved for a

Rainy day

Hid in the

Tiers of

Your mind

Looking to

Come out

To escape

And when it

Did

It was a

Very good

Tear
